Our Team

I started THR back in 1995 after recovering from two back surgeries and being dissatisfied with the physical therapy I received from other facilities. I felt disconnected as a patient when I was assigned different therapists at each appointment then had to review my history and progress with each of them. I was being treated as a number in a factory rather than an individual. It was then that I decided I wanted to create a center that would encourage trust between patient and therapist. This connection throughout the course of treatment has proven to give patients the confidence and ability they need to to return to their daily activities.

I have been married for over 30 years to my wife Dawn. She helped me with my vision and together we made THR possible. In recent years, we have employed our daughter Payton and our son Austin does odd jobs for us on occasion.

My business partner, Gregg Chodkowski, has always been the face of our company and is the main reason that our patients return. His caring and patience has always amazed me.

After two decades of running THR, what makes me most proud is hearing the success stories from our patients and being told numerous times that both the staff and the environment of our facility made them feel comfortable and important. The result of the care we give is the loyalty of our patients. Almost 40% of our new patients are either referred by former patients or are repeat patients.

We have built a family of staff and patients over the years that have given my life purpose. I am happy and grateful to have been on this journey with them all!
